This clause prevents hotels from offering any discount off their public rate to outside groups during the event window. Despite the volume we would bring, multiple properties returned the same answer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eTrainers Travel exists to deliver real savings to the community. \u003cem\u003eIf we cannot offer a meaningful discount, we will not take a piece of your booking just to put our label on the room.\u003c\/em\u003e That is not what we are here for.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWhile the same competition clause is in effect for the World Championship, there is significantly more hotel volume outside of that clause, which gives us room to negotiate on behalf of the community.
